Job Description:
The Department of Health, Human Performance & Physical Education is seeking an energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty member to teach the following classes:
- Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
- Swimming for Fitness
- Learn to Swim
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field;
- 1 year of teaching experience;
- Red Cross Certification for Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor;
- Certification as a Water Safety Instructor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in a health-related field is strongly preferred. At least 1 year of teaching experience, Blackboard/Brightspace experience and 5+ years actively working in the field is also strongly preferred.
Additional Information:
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2022
