Carpenter Foreman
The Foreman supports the on-site Project Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent with all field activities, including those of subcontractors. They will ensure all field activities follow contract documents, approved CQC Plan and scheduling. Foreman will follow all Company and OSHA and state safety regulations. |

Role and ResponsibilitiesField Knowledge: · Supervise work activities. · Preplan schedule, manpower, and equipment needed on a daily basis. · Coordinate equipment needs with other supervisors. · Coordinate material and labor needs with superintendent. · Coordinate work activities with subcontractors. · Prepare Unit Completion and Quantity Reports. · Participate in weekly subcontractors’ meetings and QC meetings · Maintain Daily Time Sheets with proper phasing. · Understand and utilize the Contract Drawings and Specifications. · Ensure compliance with the Company’s Loss Control Program and all applicable OSHA safety regulations. · Assist Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent as necessary · Layout
Safety/Quality Control · Implement and monitor ALL company Safety Policies. Take remedial action when required. · Ensure that all on-site activities are in STRICT accordance with the Company’s Loss Control Program and OSHA Safety regulations. · Always maintain Quality Control. Job Demands: · Individuals should be able to reach above/below, stoop/bend, sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time. · Individuals should be able to lift, carry and/or moving items up to 50 lbs. · Minimum of 40 hours per week is required. Work hours may vary depending on the project specifications. This may involve overtime, weekends, or night work. · May be exposed to heavy machinery/equipment and extreme weather conditions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements· High school diploma or equivalent. · 3-5 years field experience as a Carpenter/Mechanic · Ability to read construction drawings & details · A valid state issued driver’s license. · Ability to pass a pre-employment 5 panel drug screening. · Ability to pass and maintain a background investigation for multiple agencies depending on the project. · Submit to any random drug screenings when asked. · Keep up to date with all building codes, construction applicable standards. i.e., NEMA, ASTM, ANSI, ACI, ADA, etc.
Preferred Skills and Training (The company will provide when necessary)· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification. · CPR/First Aid Certification. · Blueprint reading · Linked-In Learning Training as assigned by Training Director. Equal Opportunity Employer:
