Job Description

The successful candidate is expected to work on independent project(s) via conducting both in vitro and in vivo experiments, data collection/analysis, manuscript preparation (method and results), lab organization, and maintenance. The research project(s) involves animal (rats) care, limb frostbite injury, blood collection, and histological staining. The multidisciplinary approaches, associated with biochemistry, cell biology, pathological, and physiology will be used. The lab will provide various supports necessary to complete the proposed project.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should hold a bachelor degree (or above) in the biological fields with independent ability to do common wet-lab experiments, such as Western blot, PCR, and/or immunostaining. Experience with rodent (rat) handling and surgery are plus. The employee should be self-motivated, and willing to learn new experimental skills, and work individually and collaboratively in a friendly working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

MS or PhD degree in Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Physiology or equivalent field; Bachelor degree with previous research experience and wet-lab skills can be also considered.
