Research Lab Technician
Job Description
The Rajagopalan Lab is looking for a responsible and well-organized laboratory technician to conduct independent research on 3D mammalian cell cultures. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance of laboratory inventory, stocks, records, databases, purchasing, as well as the general organization of the laboratory. Provide assistance to graduate and undergraduate students as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical engineering or related disciplines
Working experience to conduct independent research
Working experience in mammalian cell culture
Ability to keep accurate records and organize data
Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to effectively manage time
Ability to work both in independent and as a part of a team
Curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific research
Salary Information
