Program Support Technician
Job Description
The Department of Computer Science is seeking qualified candidates for a Program Support Technician to be part of the department’s Undergraduate Student Services Office. The position reports to the Associate Department Head for Undergraduate Studies and indirectly reports to the CS Office Manager. Responsibilities include: serving as receptionist and main point of contact for the Undergraduate Student Services Office, assisting with student matters such as registration and processing academic forms, handling mail and deliveries, processing supply orders, key checkout, maintaining meeting spaces, scheduling and reservations, organizing and maintaining records and office files, maintaining bulletin boards, and assisting with events and other support as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Previous administrative support experience in an academic or professional office setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated clerical skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse population
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with university systems
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures
• Associates degree or equivalent level of training and/or related work experience
