Job Description

This position will provide support for the Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA-HTM) Program with concentration in Hospitality & Tourism Management in the Pamplin College of Business in Northern Virginia, reporting to the program director. This position will primarily support the Evening MSBA-HTM program.

Required Qualifications

Previous program support experience in an academic or professional office environment; highly organized; proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word; must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and with the public; ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively with others; interact professionally with graduate students and Pamplin Extended Campus Programs staff and faculty.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience; proficiency with Hobsons Connect Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or similar program; experience in handling student records in student database such as Banner; previous experience working with retrieving information and consolidating for reports; web related information entry and retrieval; knowledge of university academic, fiscal and operational policies and procedures, experience working in an entrepreneurial environment with an “all hands on deck” culture; experience in a higher education environment.
