Program Coordinator - CeZAP
Job Description
The CeZAP Program Coordinator will assist the director in the day-to-day operation of the Center and manage a diverse portfolio of the different center initiatives. The responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include: (1). Developing and managing the annual operating budget and management and oversight of the disbursement of funds that support the Center, in collaboration with the Center Director; (2). Development and management of the Center’s communications plan. (3). Working with Center faculty to facilitate research proposal development and submission; (4). Assisting with coordination of the Center’s pilot grant programs; (5). Assistance with preparing the Center’s annual report activities; (6). Coordination of events for the Center.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, marketing, STEM field or demonstrated significant experience in lieu of degree
-Experience with event planning
-Experience managing budgets, including purchasing and invoicing
-Experience with scientific communication or related communication focus
-Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Wordpress (or other CMS), Social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Flicker
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience working in higher education with faculty at all levels
-Experience working with diverse staff and stakeholders
