Job Description
A Postdoctoral Associate position is available within the Amanda Morris research group. The position will focus on the development of metal-organic frameworks and the study of their electron transport properties and the underlying mechanism of that transport. The project will involve the synthesis of organic molecules, the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks and films of those frameworks, and the electrochemical/spectroelectrochemical characterization of the resultant molecules.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in chemistry or related field, experience with the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks, experience with electrochemical measurements, strong work habits and the ability to work independently as well as with a research group, strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Publication record that show the ability to communicate scientific contributions through the literature, evidence of oral scientific communication skills (i.e. presentations at conferences)
