Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Description
Serve as a clinical nurse, under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities will involve triage, assisting physicians and patient education. This individual will cross train and work in the Women's Clinic, Allergy/Immunization Clinic and Medical Clinic.
Required Qualifications
Licensed to practice nursing as an LPN in the State of Virginia; previous professional nursing experience with excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well with patients.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an outpatient clinical setting; previous experience working in a higher education medical/clinical environment; computer experience including electronic medical records.

This is a 9-month, academic year position.
Schedule is M-F 8:00-5:00, occasional Saturdays 9:00-12:00.
