Job Description

This position is responsible for monitoring the Heavy Vehicle Simulator (HVS) while in operation. Work requires candidate to be outside, frequently after dark, for extended periods of time, in differing weather conditions to perform a visual inspection of the HVS and record temperature readings. Notify supervisor of any issues with the HVS operation and shut down the HVS when instructed.

Required Qualifications

Be responsible, dependable. Punctual attendance is important.
Demonstrated computer proficiency required in office applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated knowledge of lab, safety procedures, and research policies, procedures and protocols.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must be aged 18 or older.
