General Education Program Support SpecialistVirginia Tech
Provide administrative support for the Office of General Education and the Pathways General Education program. This includes producing committee agendas, minutes, and reports, managing internal grant documentation, responding to student queries, scheduling and supporting workshops and events, coordinating program evaluation activities, tracking course proposal documentation through the approval process, and writing professional university documents.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets) and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g. Doodle)
- Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings and events
- Experience drafting professional documents
- Experience in K-12 or higher education setting
- Proficiency with learning management software (e.g. Canvas or Blackboard)
