This position coordinates afternoon and evening weekdays building operations for the Virginia Tech Northern Virginia Center (VT NVC) in Falls Church, VA and reports to the Assistant Director. The job duties/responsibilities involve coordinating daily building operations including scheduling, security, parking, and emergency management. Work hours are Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Broad overall knowledge and experience in handling daily building operations preferably in an academic setting including scheduling, security, parking, and emergency management. Positive, proactive, forward-thinking, customer-oriented, and is comfortable working with a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels within the organization.
Bachelor degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
45,000-50,000 depending on experience
