DVM Clerkship Coordinator
Job Description
Responsible for clinical year student coordination including managing One 45 for scheduling, tracking clerkships, course registrations for clinical year, grade entry, and assist students with relevant paperwork and software, and maintains senior schedules. Maintains student records in Banner, One45, Salesforce and Canvas. Assists Director of Admissions and Student Affairs with External Clerkship Administration. Meets with senior students to address issues and assist with scheduling and required procedures. Works closely with the Associate Dean, Director of Admissions and Student Services, and the Director of Assessment and Office Manager as needed. Assist with Employee Relations for Clinical Year students using Handshake and Brazen technologies. Manages clerkship site and emails. Ensures that clerkship websites are up to date and current at all times and submits edits and updates as needed. Assist with all AA events such as Senior Reception, Commencement, Orientation, Client Simulations, and Admissions Interviews as needed.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience working in an academic environment; ability to learn and manage sophisticated software; highly effective communication and interpersonal skills; high level of attention to detail; must be able to work independently and exercise initiative; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently; strong customer service experience and commitment to providing excellent service to students; excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with students; previous experience working with academic technologies such as One45 scheduling software, Handshake, Brazen, Canvas, Banner, Hokie SPA, etc.
