Director of Diversity Initiatives, Undergraduate Admissions||Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost/EM and Director of Undergraduate Admissions, this position serves as the main point of contact for diversity related programming in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and on campus. This position leads the major diversity initiatives, and is one of a team who plan, implement, and administer programs and initiatives designed to target, recruit, and enroll students in undergraduate degree programs. Manage the recruitment and programming of underrepresented populations. Supervises two professional staff members.
Master's degree and demonstrated experience in the undergraduate admissions field; travel and recruitment experience; knowledge and experience with the evaluation of application credentials; strong communication skills; experience in a public higher education setting; experience working with racial and ethnic minorities; a commitment to increasing underrepresented student enrollment; must be attentive to detail, well organized, able to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
Experience with the land grant mission; experience with Banner; and experience working in a paperless environment.
