Customer Service Rep
Job Description
This position serves as the first point of contact at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center by answering phones, greeting clients, assisting with patient admission and discharge paperwork, scheduling appointments, and responding to client inquiries concerning financial policies and services. Prepares, maintains and archives patient medical records. Processes client payments and reconciles daily receipts.
Required Qualifications
Excellent customer service experience. Strong communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment. Previous experience with cash handling and reconciliation of client accounts. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a veterinary hospital using a veterinary practice management software system. Ability to schedule appointments for multiple clinicians. Familiarity with equine anatomy and veterinary terminology. Experience with equine patients highly desired.
