Job Description
Responsible for supervision of cashiers and cash management of Dietrick Dining Center. Trains cashiers using University, State and Dining cash handling procedures to ensure friendly, efficient, and accurate customer service. Prepares daily deposits, daily sales reports, summary reports, distributes daily product movement reports, and deposits. Reconciles revenue from Hokie Passport with Micros reporting system. Performs various bookkeeping functions. Performs clerical work as needed such as typing, filing, copying, and answering phones.
Required Qualifications
Experience supervising and training cashiers; retail and/or food service operations; processing related paperwork. Managing the cash office and audit, reconciliation, processing of cash office paperwork and deposits. Operating an electronic cash register and accurately process debit card tender. Excellent organizational skills. Data processing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiar with Micros, and CS Gold reporting systems desired. Administrative office experience and payroll/timecard entry helpful.
