Athletic Annual fund Program Assistant
Job Description
Reporting to the Annual Giving Coordinator, this 1500 wage position will gain valuable experience in all aspects of Intercollegiate Athletics Development and its operations. This position will assist with the daily internal function of the Virginia Tech Athletic Fund (VTAF). This highly motivated individual will primarily focus on helping grow Virginia Tech Athletic Annual Fund membership in the various programs. Primary responsibilities require focus on maintaining donor contact through various outlets, assist in developing giving strategies, assist VTAF staff with daily operations, and cultivate relationships with alumni as we seek to grow the donor base.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with current office computer software such as email, word processing, spreadsheets and relational database applications
- Demonstrated customer service experience in a high volume professional environment
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software applications such as Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of training and or experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in Intercollegiate Athletics
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or sales

The successful Candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check
