These two clusters focus on transdisciplinary study of the dynamic interplay between natural and social systems and advancing the human condition and society with better decisions through data. This position will be based on the main campus at Virginia Tech, a land grant university in Blacksburg, Virginia, situated in the scenic New River Valley.

The Department of Population Health Sciences and the Public Health Programs embrace a One Health perspective, which recognizes the dynamic interdependence of human, animal, and environmental health and the need for wide transdisciplinary collaboration to protect, promote, and improve health.||The Department currently offers the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) degree. The department also serves students working towards their doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM), or their MS and PhD degrees in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences or Translational Biology Medicine and Health.
