Assistant Manager - Dietrick
Job Description
Assist in the management of DX and XL under direction of the Operations Manager. Occasionally assist in the management of D2 Dining Center under the direction of the Unit Operations Manager. Responsibilities include assisting with execution of menu plan, personnel plan, customer relations, sales and register transactions, safe and deposit management, safety and sanitation, and the maintenance and security of the building and equipment. Assist in the supervision, counseling, training and development of employees. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed. Ensures a high level of customer service at all times in the dining facility.
Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of commercial kitchen and food service operations. Supervision and management experience in a multiple item menu, food service establishment required. Food Service or Nutrition as area of educational study desired. ServSafe certification required and HACCP certification desired. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe food handling practices, and food sanitation. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and public. Excellent customer services skills. Demonstrated knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, automated payroll, employee scheduling software, and automated food inventory systems. Previous experience operating an electronic cash register and accurately exchanging cash and debit card tender.
Preferred Qualifications
ServSafe certification and HACCP certification desired. Food Service or Nutrition as area of educational study desired.
