Assistant InstructorVirginia Tech
The Assistant Program Instructor provides support in teaching the integrated foundations of engineering, programming, creative problemsolving, technical career exploration, and technical communication; supports teaching and learning activities with a variety of groups including: elementary, middle and high school students, teachers and school administrators, school and community counselors, family groups, senior citizens, regional librarians, the university's graduate students, high school interns, and others; and participates in developing teaching and learning activities for the groups above.
Bachelors degree in a relevant technical subject (e.g. sciences, math, engineering, technology, computer science, information technology, industrial education, art, or others), or equivalent training and/or experience.| Teaching experience in technical subjects.| Willingness to learn and support a wide variety of instructional approaches, subjects, and experiences.|
