Radford University is seeking a passionate, self-motivated, professional with exceptional customer service skills who enjoys working within a fast-paced and innovative environment. Reporting directly to the Special Advisor to the President for Partnerships and Chief Innovation Officer, the Executive Administrative Assistant will work independently to provide executive administrative assistance. The Executive Administrative Assistant will prepare sensitive documents and manage complex schedules and confidential information with the utmost discretion. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, sound judgement, problem solving abilities, strong organizational skills and attention to detail and time management skills. This professional will also have demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications: Experience in an executive secretarial or administrative role. Experience researching and preparing confidential and sensitive documents. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, attentional to detail and time management skills. Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Competencies in planning and scheduling, preparing reports and presentations, compiling correspondence and monitoring budgets and personnel documents. Demonstrated proficiency in current computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with calendaring in Microsoft Outlook or other scheduling systems. Ability to learn new applications and software as needed. Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders. Proven interpersonal skills with experience providing complex administrative support in a high-profile environment with confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fast-paced higher education, corporate or governmental executive administrative positions is highly desirable. Experience in administrative support positions requiring high level of knowledge skill and abilities in project management and policy interpretation and application.
