Virginia Tech Services, Inc. (VTSI) is seeking an Administrative and Operational Support Staff member. VTSI is comprised of multiple retail stores with a mission of serving the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Virginia Tech. Duties include but are not limited to accounts payable, assisting with fixed asset inventory control, bank deposits, credit card reconciliation, vending operation oversight (customer service and compliance), change machines management, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. In addition, responsible for installation/configuration, operation, maintenance of hardware and software systems, and related infrastructure for our corporate offices. Prior experience with Windows Server, Windows PCs, and network administration required. Preference will be given to candidates with a broad information technology background and the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems quickly.
A degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or 10+ years of college bookstore retail experience is required. Salary commensurate with experience.
Immediate Opening for Operations Director
Virginia Tech Services, Inc. (VTSI) is seeking an Operations Director. VTSI is comprised of multiple retail stores with a mission of serving the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Virginia Tech. We offer a fast-paced and pleasant work atmosphere with friendly employees who understand the value of teamwork.
Duties include but are not limited to reconciling commissions received from our retail operations partner as well as our campus soft drink, snack food, laundries vendors, and ATM spaces; fixed asset inventory control, corporate key control, licensing compliance and order fulfillment, preparing facilities service requests and purchase orders for equipment and supplies as needed, ensuring maintenance and repair of corporate buildings and vehicles, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
A degree in Business Administration or 10+ years of college bookstore retail experience is required. Salary commensurate with experience.
These are full-time positions with primarily Monday-Friday work schedules.
