Job Summary
Provides administrative support services for patient care to include scheduling and confirming a large volume of appointments and surgeries via telephone, web, email, and in-person utilizing exceptional patient and customer service skills. Maintains accurate databases and records and ensures all forms and paperwork are completed and correct. Performs more advanced financial functions.
Essential Functions
This position is a remote position. The Patient Admission Specialist (PAS) serves as the initial point of contact for patients seeking care at the school and plays a critical role in creating a "private practice" experience for the patient from the start. This position is responsible for answering a high volume of telephone calls on the school's primary phone line; conveying requested information in and friendly and courteous manner; obtaining necessary information from patients to schedule initial screening appointments and transferring calls to specialty clinics when appropriate.

This position is primarily sedentary and requires long periods of sitting and answering calls.
