Job Description

-Performs research and provides consulting that supports and facilitates the planning, policy development and decision making activities of system administrators.
-Performs assignments and responsibilities of varying degrees of complexity and diversity
-Applies perspectives based on experience in a certain specialty area (i.e.. security and intellectual property law) that impact outcomes for the university
-Researches and reviews current programs to ensure compliance with any regulations or laws.
-Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
-Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus
-Works directly with external teams when assessing proposed projects that have substantial security and intellectual property impact on the University

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD and/or demonstrated relevant experience

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $67,746- $132,309 annually
Grade: GGS - 012

The Department of Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics and Medical Epidemiology (BBME) at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is a leader in health informatics education, and biomedical informatics, biostatistics and epidemiology research and service.
The department offers the University of Missouri's CAHIIM-accredited master's degree in health informatics (M.S.), as well as graduate certificates in health care project management, health ethics and health informatics. Students may pursue a master's degree on campus through our Residential Program or primarily online through our Executive Program for working professionals.
Our faculty members research, develop and support environments for the effective uses of biomedical data, information and knowledge for scientific inquiry, problem solving and decision making, driven by efforts to improve human health. BBME researchers secure federal, state and non-profit grants and industry partnerships to advance their work and the mission of the university, and health informatics research is one of the top areas of strength within the School of Medicine.
