Job Description

The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrists to join our growing psychiatric team.

Inpatient and outpatient opportunities exist in our 17 bed inpatient child and adolescent unit, our outpatient child clinic, and in our innovative programs such as DYS Tele-Psych, and Bridge, our school-based program. Teaching and research are supported and encouraged. Candidates would also have leadership opportunities directing various academic programs including the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program Directorship.

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri is dedicated to the treatment of patients, education of learners and research into mental illness. The department provides a full array of services including inpatient care at the University of Missouri Psychiatric Hospital (MUPC), 24/7 emergency and hospital consultative services and outpatient adult and child clinics https://medicine.missouri.edu/departments/psychiatry/.
