Job Summary
Successful completion of duties and responsibilities enables the College of Fine Arts to deliver quality services in areas of recruitment and selection of effective, efficient and more legally defensible manner for both regular and temporary employment needs.
Responsibilities include management of all aspects of the College of Fine Arts Human Resources functions including, but not limited to, Recruitment, Compensation, Employment, Employee Relations, and Training; serve as Primary Liaison with UK HR Division and Office of the Provost when addressing and determining appropriate course of action related to employment, position creation/elimination, FMLA, compensation/pay equity, faculty and staff overloads for College employees; administration and process of hiring new employees, ensuring compliance with all requirements; ensure departments are well-informed of new and revised policies and procedures in a timely manner; monitor and evaluate JAQs for all staff in the College; and work with UKHR to document disciplinary and performance issues.
