Job Summary
The University of Kentucky is seeking a Financial Aid Counselor to provide counseling and advice to students and their families seeking federal, state, and institutional financial aid. This position will evaluate financial need, and award financial aid, on an individual basis.
This position will process general financial aid duties primarily with packaging and processing.
As part of our outreach, this position will also present information regarding federal, state, and institutional grants, loans, scholarships, and work opportunities at the various campus events, student and parent workshops, high school college nights, orientations, and recruitment events. This position will participate in outreach events utilizing email, text, and phone communications.
