Job Description Summary:
The University of Kansas School of Medicine seeks to recruit a junior faculty member/regional fellow. This position will have 50% of their duties as a regional fellow learner and 50% clinical duties as a junior faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology. The University of Kansas Hospital is a 750 bed academic medical center with a Level 1 Trauma Center, NCI-designated Cancer Center, Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Center for Advanced Heart Care. Opportunities for scholarly effort and clinical research are available and participation in the academic missions of the department are encouraged.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: M.D./D.O. or equivalent. Graduate of U.S. accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.


Job Duties Outlined:
  • Direct Patient Care
  • When in the junior faculty role: Teaching medical students, SRNA's and residents.
  • When in the junior faculty role: Supervision of CRNA's
  • Other duties as assigned by PD or department Chair
