Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic research team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis, with a particular focus on utilizing animal models to explore the underlying mechanisms of Thrombotic Microangiopathy
Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Education: PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in molecular biology techniques.
- Proficiency in working with rodent or zebrafish models.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience: Research experience related to thrombosis and hemostasis.
Skills:
- Ability to independently plan, multi-task, and complete projects.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to research.
Job Duties Outlined:
- Conduct Innovative Research: Lead and actively participate in research projects focused on thrombosis and hemostasis. Utilize animal models, including rodents and zebrafish, to investigate key biological processes and molecular mechanisms.
- Publication: Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Present research results at conferences and scientific meetings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow lab members, including graduate students and technicians, to achieve research objectives. Share expertise and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic research environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
