Payroll/Human Resources Assistant
Responsible for processing payroll, taxes, benefit payments to vendors, and completing human resource projects and administrative assignments. Processes and maintains personnel and payroll records; Administers benefits programs; Prepares job postings; Conducts new hire orientations; Prepares W-2's, wage garnishments, various local, state and federal reports and payments related to payroll including federal taxes, state taxes, and social security. Required: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting, human resources, business administration or related field and considerable experience in payroll, accounting, or benefits administration. Payroll and/or HR certification a plus. Salary range: $40,000 - $56,500 + excellent benefits package.
