Line Cooks and Lead Cooks

The Line Cook position is one that requires a skill set in the restaurant field and professionalism. We are calling for an attentive, energetic, self-sufficient, enthusiastic individual that enjoys working in a team environment while practicing the highest level of food safety knowledge. Back of house crew members are committed to our mission of helping our guests Celebrate Life One Bite At a Time. Line Cooks are responsible for opening and closing prep work. We require excellent organization skills as well as being able to communicate clearly.
We offer two weeks of classroom and hands-on training. We offer ServSafe Food Handler certification.
Line Cooks and Lead Cooks earn a competitive hourly rate based on experience. You must fill out the application completely to be considered for employment.
Line Cook Requirements:
- Must have prior experience
- First week of open availability for training
- High level of professionalism
- A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of weights and measures
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work quickly but calmly always focusing on guests' needs
- ServSafe Food Handler certified - We will provide certification!
Lead Cook (Sous Chef) The Lead Cook position is responsible for assisting our Chefs in managing and leading the back of house. All of our Chefs within the HOUSEpitality Family started as Lead Cooks! The Lead Cook will be responsible for ordering, inventory, opening and closing prep checklists. Lead Cooks tap into their creativity by coming up with features and keeping all crew engaged in the menu. You must fill out application completely to be considered for employment.
Lead Cook (Sous Chef) Requirements:
- All requirements of a Line Cook
- Years of experience in field
- Management or leadership preferred
- ServSafe Manager certification - We will provide certification!
