Richfield Living is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our outpatient, skilled nursing and assisted living centers in Salem, VA. The OT is responsible for assessing the need for, developing, and delivering occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. This position reports to the Director of Rehab.

The OT will develop and implement individualized therapy program designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance for residents. Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the resident. Instruct, educate, and train residents and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting resident independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. Supervise OTA, provisional licensees, students, and support team members in accordance with stare licensure requirements and professional standards.
Qualifications:

- Requires valid Virginia OT license with ability to practice per Virginia guidelines.
- Must be a graduate of an OT curriculum accredited by AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in OT
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate; verbal and written.
- Ability to observe and communicate changes of medical conditions to the nursing team
- Passion to care for our residents
- Experience working within a healthcare community desired
- Experience with Elopement and Emergency Procedures desired
