Richfield Living, in Salem, VA, is accepting applications for a Full-Time detail oriented, motivated and dynamic MDS Reimbursement
Coordinator. This position reports to the Controller.

The MDS Reimbursement Coordinator provides leadership to MDS Coordinators and Clinical Coordinators through on-going training and onboarding for those responsible for MDS and care plans. To ensure the proper processing of MDS and documentation in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. This may involve direct problem solving, conflict resolution and ensuring that the needs of residents are met. Effective communication with Nurse Leadership and Medical providers.
Qualifications:
- RN licensed in VA.
- MDS 3.0 experience.
- Knowledge of state Medicaid Case Mix system required.
- PDPM knowledge required.
- Advance knowledge of PointClickCare PCC
- Knowledge of quality indicators and CMS quality star ratings
- RAC-CT preferred or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Regional leadership experience a plus (responsible for multiple healthcare centers).
- 3 to 5 years on the job experience in a skilled nursing or retirement facility is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and effective oral and written communication
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact and build relationships with the residents
and team members in a polite and professional manner. - Demonstrated knowledge of local, state and federal MDS regulations.
