Richfield Living is seeking a highly energetic, people oriented, customer focused Human Resource Generalist to join our Assisted Living ( Joseph Thomas Center) Community. This position will be FT Exempt and will support a team of 60- 70 team members and managers, as well as residents in their home.

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department at Richfield Living’s. Duties will include assistance with the hiring process (recruitment thru orientation), benefits administration, worker’s compensation, FMLA, training and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Generalist will report to the Administrator with support from the Corporate HR Resource Center.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administrative duties: Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance management; recognition, and morale.
- HRIS management: Submit and manage team member information accurately and timely.
- Reporting: Report on Recruitment, Retention and Turnover, Worker’s Compensation, FMLA and other reporting as requested.
- Performance Management: Handles employment-related inquiries from team members, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Administrator and Director of Human Resources. Manages the performance appraisal process for compliance.
- Compliance Management: Reviews, tracks, and verifies compliance with FMLA and Worker’s Compensation. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, OSHA and recommended HR best practices.
- Development: Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Education and Experience:

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, learning & talent management systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· At least two years of human resources experience preferred.
· HR certification is a plus. Previous healthcare experience preferred but will consider the
