Job Summary:
Richfield Living is transforming our medical model skilled nursing facility to the house model "where daily life flourishes in the richness of all that is home." As part of the Household Model, our community has implemented a Person Directed Lifestyle philosophy and will be opening a four (19 bed) long term care households late 2020.
In this dynamic new role, you'll facilitate self-led teams. Richfield is currently looking to fill a Household Coordinator opportunity. The Household Coordinator has the primary responsibility of enhancing the resident's quality of life and working closely with the Clinical Coordinator to effectively manage the household. The Household Coordinator also has responsibility for oversight of non-clinical function in the household (dining service, and life enrichment).
In addition, you will work with Nursing to oversea one (19 bed) long term care households to ensure that all services are being provided in a person-centered environment. Emphasis will be on providing all services based upon the residents' individual preference in a new state-of-art building.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can multi-task to provide both of these challenging services.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate required. College degree preferred.
- Experience in long term care environment preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or be willing to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Professional Activities Certification (ex: MEPAP) preferred, or willing to obtain.
