We are currently accepting applications for a creative, motivated and dynamic Richfield Living is accepting applications for a creative, motivated and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing/RN (ADON). This is a FT/Exempt team member position.
Richfield Living located in Salem, VA, is transforming to the household model of resident care. As part of the Household Model, our community has implemented a Resident Centered philosophy and will be opening four (19 bed) long term care households fall/winter 2020.
Richfield has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN looking for career advancement in a growing company. Richfield is undergoing many exciting changes as we build 2 new nursing facilities utilizing 19 bed Households, which offers many new opportunities for staff to deliver Resident Directed care. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Management team in establishing goals and developing systems to ensure quality nursing care for our long term care and rehabilitation residents. In addition to long term care Households, Richfield also offers state of the art short term rehabilitation services. The ADON must have a strong desire to learn about Culture Change and Resident Directed Care is required!

Qualifications:
- Must exhibit Richfield Living Values – RISES at all times
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service to Richfield Living community
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize workloads, organize, team building and critical thinking.
- Establish effective working relationships with team members, residents and community members.
- Experience working with senior population(s) within a senior living community.
- Current active RN license in the state of VA
- 3-5 years management experience in a long-term care setting
- Acute care experience preferred
- Possess excellent oral and written communication and computer skills
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and state survey process required.
- Infection Control Preventionist preferred, or must be willing to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
