Richfield Living is seeking an experienced Licensed Assisted Living Administrator to join the Joseph C. Thomas (JCT) Assisted Living community in Salem, VA. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Joseph C. Thomas Center is home to memory care and assisted living residents and is designed in a household model of care. The ideal candidate will have experience with person-directed living and embraces resident, family and team engagement. JCT has a strong team and desires an Administrator who will continue to expand the household model within the facility.

The Administrator of Assisted Living establishes and maintains systems that are effective and efficient to operate the center in a manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. To establish and maintain systems that is effective and efficient to operate the center in a financially sound manner. Focus on Person Centered Approach to Care, Compliance management processes, Leadership of team members and Building Relationships as a member of the Operations Team.

Qualifications:
- Licensed Assisted Living or Nursing Home Administrator in Virginia (or ability to obtain VA license) required
- Associates Degree, Bachelor Degree preferred
- Knowledge in standards and regulations for Assisted Living facilities developed by Virginia Department of Social Services
- Must exhibit Richfield Living Values – RISES at all times
- Passion to care for our residents
- Experience working within a Demonstrated exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- healthcare community desired
- Experience with Memory Care, Elopement and Emergency Procedures desired
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Experience in person centered approach to care
