Lead Reporting Analyst
Radford University invites applications for the position of Lead Reporting Analyst in the Division of Information Technology. This position provides senior level expertise in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and data repositories to meet the business intelligence requirements of the University. Provides analysis, technical specifications and implementations in support of a robust reporting and analytics environment. Assists in integrating a complex set of reporting applications involving new technologies, methods, concepts, or approaches. Conducts Business Process Analysis for business process improvement. Independently solves conventional and non-conventional reporting problems. Acts as technical/team leader on complex projects
Required Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of database and reporting concepts. Knowledge of programming, debugging, analysis of automated processes, systems development principles and industry best practices. Proficient with SQL, PL/SQL or some combination of similar languages. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing reports, dashboards and visualizations providing data and analytics for data driven decisions. Experience with Ellucian Banner software products, Oracle DBMS and tools, web application development, Cognos, and Tableau or similar reporting tools. Knowledge of large-scale computing environments. Experience or training in object-oriented languages.
