Construction Administrator

The County of Pulaski is seeking to hire a Construction Administrator that would be responsible for performing construction administration duties related to public works and building construction/maintenance projects.  Duties include planning, coordination, and oversight of construction projects from inception to completion in accordance with Local, State and Federal regulatory funding requirements.  This position also administers the County’s Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Program.

Pulaski County prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field and a minimum of five years’ experience.  It also requires an ESC Combined Administrator Certification (Administrator, Inspector, Plan Reviewer) or ability to become certified within one year of employment.  Experience in Federal and State grant management, general construction practices, project management, budgeting and working with the public are required.

The salary scale for this position is $67,883 TO $83,984  and is commensurate upon education and experience.  The position also includes an excellent benefits package that offers health, dental and vision insurance, VRS retirement, paid holidays and much more.
