Staff working in the REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) work as a team to ensure individuals participating in the program are provided individualized personal and behavioral supports needed to promote crisis stabilization, community inclusion and maximum independence. These positions work with other REACH team members to ensure quality services are provided.
This position provides the following services for individuals in the REACH program diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses or behavioral challenges: mental health supports, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. Works as part of the REACH team to assure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.
Must have the education and/or experience in a related field that demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for Service Provider level.
- College degree in human services related field and QMHP-T status through the Virginia Board of Counseling is required for Paraprofessional or
- QMHP-A or QMHP-C through the Virginia Board of Counseling for CSP II level.
Experience working in a residential facility that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license (Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) and an acceptable driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
