OVERVIEW
Staff working in the REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) work as a team to ensure individuals participating in the program are provided individualized personal and behavioral supports needed to promote crisis stabilization, community inclusion and maximum independence. These positions work with other REACH team members to ensure quality services are provided.
The Direct Support Professional, provides the following services for individuals in the REACH program diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses or behavioral challenges: mental health supports, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. Works as part of the REACH team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.
Full-time overnights positions available - starting annual salary: $30,535 plus benefits.
Part-time hours available evening/overnights starting pay: $13.68-$14.68
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as part of the REACH Respite team to ensure individuals in need of crisis and respite services are provided individualized personal and behavioral supports needed to promote crisis stabilization, community inclusion and maximum independence.
Works with family members, other care-givers, REACH team members, and natural community resources as indicated in the individuals' service plan to ensure appropriate services are delivered. This position primarily works evening and overnight hours. May also be assigned to provide crisis supervision for home-based services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Will be required to get certification in CPR, First aid, NRVCS Medication training, and PCM training, all trainings are provided by employer.
- Experience working in a residential facility that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
