OVERVIEW
Special Deliveries is a program that works with prenatal women and families with children under the age of 5 years by using a community-based model of practice. The clinician in this position will be part of a dynamic team providing individualized services for parents and families who may experience mental health concerns and/or substance use issues. It entails provision of clinical services such as supportive counseling, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments. The clinician will also participate in Individual Service Plan (ISP) development, psycho-education and managing referrals. Position promotes communication among all parties providing services to the client and participates in treatment planning meetings as needed, to ensure continuity of care.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in a human services field, with a least one year of experience in a setting working with children and/or adults with needs in the area of mental health, substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities is required. Licensure status of LMHP or LMHP-E preferred.
