Local Office on Aging, Inc. (LOA) seeks a dependable person to provide support to the VP & Chief Financial Officer, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The job is located at the LOA Central Office. Tasks include assistance with budget development and serves as backup to the VP/ CFO. Prepares the IRS form 5500 report. Prepares General Ledger entries for cash receipts as well as remote deposits and deposit slips. Is responsible for AP and cash receipts. Should have experience with non-profit accounting software with a preference for familiarity using Grants Management Software (GMS). Benefits include sick/annual leave, 13 paid holidays & Employer paid Health and Vision Insurance. Annual Salary Range is $37,000 to $42,000 depending on experience. A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field is preferred with 6 years of related experience. Older workers are encouraged to apply.
