IT Systems and Cloud Administrator
Keltron IoT, Corp. is seeking a dedicated IT Systems and Cloud Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining our cloud presence, primarily on AWS and optionally Azure, as well as overseeing our computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cloud technologies and traditional IT systems, with a focus on security and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. This role is located in person at the office in Roanoke, VA.
Salary range $90,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Cloud Management (80%):
- Manage the security of our online resources on AWS (initially) and apply best practices to ensure the protection of our cloud assets.
- Conduct security scans on software packages to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment.Utilize infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform, to automate and manage cloud resources.Learn and apply new tools and technologies to address emerging challenges and improve system performance.
IT Systems Management (20%):
- Purchase, install, configure, and update hardware, software, and operating systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, storage devices, and phones.
- Create and manage user accounts for Microsoft Office 365.
- Set up and maintain backup and recovery processes for company data.
- Set up and manage VPN access, network connectivity, firewalls, websites, spam filters, DNS servers, and other network infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills:
Cloud Technologies:
- Knowledge of AWS (essential) and Azure (optional).
- Knowledge of security scanning software (e.g., Nessus, OWASP Zap).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
IT Systems:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems with familiarity in Linux and Apple operating systems.
- Knowledge of VMware and familiarity with other virtualization solutions.
- Knowledge of firewalls, email systems, spam filters, websites, and general internet protocols and hardware.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and related applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and repair computers and other hardware.

Competencies and Certifications:
- AWS cloud experience preferred (minimum 5 years)
