Job Description
Well established Accounting Firm in Moneta seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain financial records for multiple clients, working close with accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
Responsibilities
• Process financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for multiple companies
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Process Federal, state and local payroll tax payments by established deadlines
• Calculate and process monthly sales tax payments
• Quarterly payroll tax reconciliations
• Annual preparation and filing of W-2's and 1099's
• Client communication and coordination of information
Key Competencies
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax deadlines/requirements
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment

Required
• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Confidentiality
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
