HopeTree Family Services is seeking a Full-Time Director of the Developmental Disabilities Ministry Program. The selected candidate can be based out of our Salem or Richmond office.
The Director will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and daily administration of the Developmental Disabilities Ministry Program. The Program has worksites throughout the State of Virginia to include 18 Group Homes, Respite Care, and Day Services. Our Day Services Program currently includes In Home, Day Support, Community Engagement and Coaching. The
The outgoing, energetic leader will oversee all program aspects to include: Maintaining DBHDS, Medicaid, ODS, policies and procedures to ensure compliance; Recruitment and admission of program participants and continued support of current residents and families; Working knowledge of Human Rights Rules and Regulations and conducting investigations; Facilitates opening and licensing of new programs; Provides support to staff for various trainings, Oversees and monitors staffing needs; Ensures operation within approved budgets
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field from an accredited college or university. Master's Degree is strongly preferred. The position will also require a minimum of five years’ experience in adult care and administration, and a demonstrated ability to effectively perform program, planning, budgeting, and staff management. Must be able to work closely with families and relate to outside agencies, religious and/or community groups in a positive and productive manner. Experience in Baptist denominational life is preferred. Frequent travel to additional DDM locations throughout the state will be required to properly support staff and program initiatives.
