Associate Director of Foster Care and Adoption
HopeTree Family Services has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Associate Director of Foster Care and Adoption located on our Salem Campus.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily administration of the designated regional Foster Care programs
- Supervision of Foster Care Case Workers
- Assisting with training prospective and current resource parents and conducting home studies as needed
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in social work is required or a Bachelor's Degree and combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Must have supervisory experience and demonstrate the ability to be an effective leader and work independently
- Must demonstrate the emotional maturity and ability to deal effectively with the social, psychological and emotional problems of children and their families
- Effective communication skills and the ability to represent HopeTree Family Services in the community in a positive manner
- Knowledge of family systems, community resources, adolescent behaviors and mental health issues is required.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
