DIRECTOR OF STUDENT HEALTH CENTER
Director of Student Health Center
Reporting to the Dean of Students, develop policies and administer the operation of the Student Health Center. Assist with the development of overall health policies for the students and the College in general. Oversee an extensive college-wide health promotion program. Provide direct medical and emotional service for students and staff with health-related concerns. Work directly with the Dean of Students and the student affairs staff to develop policy and implement programs. Develop cooperative/collaborative relationships with other providers, agencies, organizations, and institutions. Provide assistance to other colleges and state and local agencies. Provide leadership for COVID-19 Team developing policies and procedures. Actively maintain support and record keeping of students in quarantine and isolation. Regularly update guidelines from CDC and VDH. Provide care to students affected by COVID-19 by testing, assessment and support while in quarantine and isolation. Coordinate closely with Office of Students Affairs in the care of affected students.
Qualifications: BSN, RN with experience in relevant area of professional nursing and administrative experience, 5-8 years in college health field or equivalent combination of education and experience, Experience in the field of adolescent male health and student development very desirable.
