Law Enforcement Business Development Manager

DekkoSecure is seeking an ambitious, energetic, detailed oriented, motivated, and self-starting retired senior law enforcement professional to contribute to the growth of our company. As the front face of DekkoSecure in the U.S., you will create, in conjunction with DekkoSecure management, and apply an effective sales strategy. Your goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Client Acquisition
  • Actively contact potential clients via email, phone, social media or in-person meetings to establish business relationships.
  • Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients.
• Generate new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the C suite.
• Analyze law enforcement client needs, goals, strategies, industry trends and directions to develop sales leads and close business deals.
• Create and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals that highlight DekkoSecure's value proposition.
• Assume responsibility for growth and market penetration.
• Report regularly to DekkoSecure management about status of leads and to strategize key account activities.
• Maintain comprehensive notes on account activities in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years successful business development experience selling $50K plus technology or software solutions preferably to law enforcement agencies. Able to demonstrate consistent quota attainment.
• Consistent performance in bookings and pipeline creation.
• Significant law enforcement experience with a city, county, state, or federal law enforcement agency at a command level.
• Established network to actively meet with potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
• Experience with and/or an understanding of cyber security is preferred.
• A member in good standing of national-level professional law enforcement associations such as the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA), FBI National Executive Institute Associates (FBI NEIA), FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA), International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA), or Police Executive Research Forum (PERF).
  • Current or prior service on committees or executive boards of the aforementioned law enforcement associations is preferred.

Business Travel - Approximately 35%.

Pay Range

DekkoSecure complies with local and state laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role may include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NJ, NY, OH, RI, WA) and/or remote.

• The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $120,000 to $150,000. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
• Uncapped, performance-based commissions with OTE expected to be $250,000 to $350,000.
• Negotiable - Stock options after a qualifying period.
