The Position: We’re looking for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to work in our Buena, NJ manufacturing facility.

Requirements:
- BS/BA in safety management or similar field
- 5 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Experience with producing professional performance reports
- Experience with developing and delivering EHS training
- Certificate in occupational and health safety
Responsibilities:
- Translate policies into company-level procedures and ensure all employees are provided with relevant information.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents, violations and environmental issues and maintain the safety incident reporting database. Effectively use the safety data to determine the best opportunities for improvements.
- Develop corrective actions based on relevant data and monitor the effectiveness of safety corrective action plans.
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.
- Train the management team on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) related training topics and share best practices.
- Maintain a safety training data base to ensure all employees receive required training.
- Continually improve new hire safety training material.
- Audit corrective actions to ensure they are sustained and report to management.
- Schedule/coordinate visits with all required state and local inspectors for environmental monitoring. Report audit results to management.
- Maintain all required licenses/certificates.
The Location: This position is based in our Buena, NJ manufacturing facility.
